Tears While Reading

SORRY FOR THE TEARS, but Megan’s mother died. In the book, I mean. It was 6 years ago and I knew about it before I started reading, but I just read it. There was the hair that went uncut. And then the haircut. Then I needed to stop for a bit.

See how it is with a book? All my griefs came calling. We had ourselves a good visit. There was tea. Graham crackers. Poetry. Here, I mean.

Must go finish the book now.

The Joy of Poetry

“See how it is with a book?” Yes, that’s what I love about books, and even blog posts often. They have gifts to give of such depth and value. God uses our words…if only we put them down on the page somewhere and don’t talk ourselves out of it through our own insecurities. Just write what he tells us–he can’t speak through the words unless we do.
