A New Day for CLL

HAPPY TO HEAR the news coming out of ASH 2012 (American Society of Hematology) this past weekend, that, thanks to the success of the drug under study in the last two clinical trials in which Wally has participated, the days of chemotherapy to treat CLL (chronic lymphocytic leukemia) appear to be coming to an end.

This is HUGE, a targeted therapy in pill form as opposed to chemotherapy! We are happy beyond happy and thankful for the chance to play a part.

Thanks to all who’ve been following this story and caring these past 4 years. Today we celebrate Wally’s birthday. Yet another. Alright!

See all the leukemia posts here.
