Running Down My Phone Battery with Needless Blogging

BIG STORM leaves us without power. Restoration of service is anticipated (latest update)….midnight of July 6.

We are well.

Neighbor meets neighbor. Lots of helping out and catching up.

Tree limbs being dragged out of yards.

Little girls next door in sprinkler all afternoon.

Nothing is open in town, so no point going there.

State of Emergency exists. Wally waited in line to get the $20 worth of gas permitted each customer (cash sales only).

The inside of the house is the same temperature as the outside, just like summers as a child.

I’m reading, zooming through a book at breakneck speed……between naps.

I pulled from the freezer a tiny loaf of lemon-poppyseed bread, brought home from a Christmas baking exchange last December. See? It pays to hold onto things.

Had it with supper… 3:30 in the afternoon! What? We were bored, so we moved dinner up. State of Emergency, after all.
