If You’re Going to have a Finish Year….

4:15 in the afternoon.
I’ve just returned to the chair I left at 10 AM
after a phone call.
It was all good and I’m glad I said “Sure” to it, but…..

I did 7 things today that weren’t even on my radar screen when I woke up and absolutely nothing about the one thing that was.

I’ll do better tomorrow. I’ve been following Jon Acuff’sFinish Year posts and am more keenly aware of how days go. It isn’t really that I left what I was doing at 10, but that I wasted my pre-10 peak creative time on things I could easily do any time of day or evening.

The words “Oh, I’ll just write this section at 2:30 in the afternoon” are one of the biggest lies I tell myself.

In other news…
The chair is back.
The squeak is gone and I couldn’t help but take a photo of this poster that hung of the repair shop wall. Just wanted to show it. So colorful!
