Everything That’s Been Put on Hold Comes Rushing Back

In an email to a friend this morning, I described my mind as a “train wreck”. 🙂 Here’s why:

If I take all the things
about which
I said

“I can’t make that decision until after June 8th”
“It’ll have to wait until after June 8th”
“We’ll see about it after June 8th”

and put them all together in a BIG pot
and stir,

I end up with
the stew
that is currently
my head.

June 8th was the day we’d learn whether we would spend the next 3-1/2 months living in Columbus, near the medical center.

And we were prepared for that.

But now that the stem cell transplant has been pushed out a little further, which is GOOD news, everything that was put on hold, backburnered or fell through the cracks came rushing back at me, very suddenly.

So I’m SORTING and SIFTING. That’s my “next step.” Some cars need to be put back on the track. Not all. More on this next post…..

p.s. Sorry for mixing metaphors. I take liberties. Love blogging for that reason. DOWN with perfectionism! See how I almost didn’t even mention it?
