A few more photos from Laity Lodge. This may have been inspired by David as a shepherd boy, I don’t know, but it made me think of the “Feed my sheep” conversation in John 21.

Jesus asks John 3 times “Do you love me?”

John is a little hurt
that he is asked a third time
when he has already answered yes.

Jesus makes a point with him that sounds simple,
but will be a life’s work
and require caring
beyond what he might imagine, “Feed my sheep.”
